Efficiency Worth Smiling About

It’s difficult to emphasize just how important technology has become in the world of modern dentistry. Simply put, things like digital impressions, 3D printers, and intraoral cameras have redefined what is possible when it comes to planning and performing all kinds of treatments. Here at Plaza Dental Group, we’ve made sure that we have all of the cutting-edge devices needed to provide high-quality care. Digital Impressions with CEREC

Our practice is excited to offer fully digital impressions using CEREC technology to deliver faster, more comfortable, and highly precise results. Instead of messy traditional molds, a small handheld scanner captures detailed 3D images of your teeth in minutes. The enhanced accuracy provided by CEREC allows us to design and create custom crowns and restorations right here in our office, often during a single visit.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Our CT/cone beam scanner provides highly detailed, 3D images of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding oral structures following a quick and non-invasive scan. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to diagnose conditions with greater precision and plan treatments, such as dental implants, extractions, and more, with exceptional accuracy. By capturing comprehensive images, as well as minimizing radiation exposure, we can enhance both patient safety and outcomes simultaneously.

3D Printer

Our PrimePrint 3D printer allows us to create custom dental appliances right here in our office. This technology helps to design and fabricate a wide variety of devices, such as mouthguards, nightguards, and even surgical guides for dental implants with incredible accuracy, meaning the end result will fit and function perfectly. This streamlined process also reduces wait times and enhances patient comfort!

Intraoral Camera

We utilize advanced intraoral cameras, including the Iris Digidoc and Mouthwatch, to give you a clear, up-close view of your smile. These small cameras can easily and comfortably capture detailed images of your teeth and gums in real time, allowing us to show you exactly what we see and explain our findings more clearly. The biggest benefit, though, is that it’ll help you feel confident and more informed when it comes to your care decisions.
